Lee R. Butler, age 51, a Pisces born in Gelnhausen, Germany. Grew up and spent half my life in Europe. Consider myself a San Francisco boy who has also lived in New York, Chicago, Cincinnati, London and Tokyo Japan. Now I call San Diego my home and there is no place on the planet I’d rather be.

I am a Biochemical and Electrical Engineer which a BSEE in Electrical Engineering, an Associates Degree in Microbiology and certifications in Clinical Immunology, Toxicology and Forensics. Work primarily in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology arena.

Have about 30 years experience in the Leather Community which all started back in Chicago in about 1979. President of Cincinnati Chaps Motorcycle Club from 1981 through 1985, Associate for Pittsburgh Motor Cycle Club, Toronto Motor Cycle Club. This is my first title and I am humbled and honored to have been selected as Mr. San Diego Leather 2007.

Bronx member of the Leather Archives and Museum Project in Chicago, member of the Human Right Campaign and soon to be member of the San Diego Leather History Project I have stepped out of the shadows and wish only to serve this community in any way I can.

My goal for this upcoming years is the united the groups of our community including the Leather, BDSD, Bear, Cowboy/ Rodeo, Sisters, and the women and to see these groups united in service, goals and in just plan having fun together and being together.
